On a couple of website about Star Wars: The Force unleashed they were saying that the character is Darth Vader's apprentice what do you think about this?

I think it's logical. Everytime an evil is destroyed, a greater evil usual fills the void. The sith merely planned for the inevidable by usually taking on a singular apprentice in order to pass down the truest forms of the darkside. I think Darth Vader would be no different from any other Sith Lord.

i dont understand if the main character is darths apprentice, why are the empire attacking him/her

Well, the main character is Vader's SECRET apprentice. If I could guess, Vader doesn't want anyone to really know about where your characters loyalty lies, so you'll most likely fight both good and bad in this game.

Apparently Vader is ordering his Secret Apprentice to attack the empire so that they think there is still a threat out there. Basically to keep them straight with fear, and I think they are pinning it on the Jedi. That is what I heard anyway.

I read somewhere that the apprentice is the son of a Jedi Master. Is this true?

I believe you kill his father in the first level. Vader wanted him to hunt down the remaining jedi, so it makes sense.

Well, the main character is Vader's SECRET apprentice. If I could guess, Vader doesn't want anyone to really know about where your characters loyalty lies, so you'll most likely fight both good and bad in this game.
The story is that he is training him to kill remaining jedi and eventually to help him kill the emperor but no one knows who he is and when you see a lightsaber on the battlefield you shoot first then ask questions.

He's Darth Vader's apprentice, and yes, he is the son of Jedi Master Kento Marek and the reason he fights the Empire as well as the Empire's enemies is because, like Dyne said, he's Vader's secret apprentice, but he kills stormtroopers to as to "leave no witnesses" as Vader commands so that Palpatine won't learn of his existence.

ya but apparently his loyalties change from vader to his friends because good or evil i think vader betrays u and u fight him at the end
