Cutscenes!
Sometimes in a stage if you are the right character and you have the right team and you meet the right people in the right place and at the right time, you'll get a tiny bit of DW/SW cinema!
Let's compile all that can be found in Warriors Orochi. With 79 characters and dozens of stages, odds are you might be missing out on classic cuts!
Here's an example:
Stage: Wu Story 6
Require: Be Hanzo Hattori, meet with enemy Zhou Tai
Scene: Hanzo and Zhou Tai have a monosyllabic conversation/stand-off

Here are some rumored that I am yet to try out:
Stage: Wei Story 2
Require: With Cao Cao in your team, approach Nobunaga Oda
Scene: The two look-a-likes exchange words
Stage: SW Story 6
Require: Approach as Xiahou Dun without Nobunaga on team
Scene: Nobunaga Oda and Xiahou Dun talk
Stage: SW Story 8
Require: Approach as Guan Ping without Nobunaga on team
Scene: Nobunaga Oda and Guan Ping talk
Stage: Shu Story 7
Require: Play as Zhao Yun, Magoichi Saika and Yukimura Sanada
Scene: All 3 characters destroying a crowd and Zhao Yun assisting Magoichi with one, in which Magoichi replies with "I owe you one."
Stage: Shu Story 9 (they probably mean 8, right?)
Require: Play as Zhao Yun, Yukimura Sanada, and I believe one other character
Scene: Yukimura and Zhao Yun have Da Ji trapped in blades, and the 3rd character is standing in the background, watching
Stage: Wu Story 4
Require: Play as any character and complete the stage
Scene: Your any character will have a remark for Sun Jian's actions.
Rating: ***** - even Orochi has something to say! Being obsessive, I am compelled to play through as everyone to see what they say....
Stage: SW Story 5
Require: Mitsuhide Akechi, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and Guan Ping team
Scene: Beginning of stage...
So... have YOU seen any unique cutscenes??? List them then!

I've seen most of those
The one with Yukimura Sanada, Zhao Yun and Magoichi on stage 7 Shu story... I though that happened with all characters
well.
I did the one on Wu story four with Kunoichi and Ranmaru

I have seen quite a few of them. I like the Hanzo Hattori and Zhou Tai one, I saw that when getting Hanzo's PIR.

Wu Story 4 is hilarious. I highly reccommend being Sun Jian when the stage ends for some insanity...
As for other rare cutscenes, I'm still looking (so should you!). Here are some common, but still fun cutscenes-- where your character becomes a silent participant:
Stage: Wei Story 2
Require: Defeat Huang Gai when he shows up
Scene: Your character stands there as Cao Pi and Huang Gai exchange insults
Stage: Shu Story 5
Require: Approach Yuan Shao's cage at the very south of the enemy base behind Dong Zhuo
Scene: Your character frowns in disappointment as Yuan Shao lectures
Stage: Shu Story 8
Require: Get close to Orochi
Scene: Depending on who you are, one of two things will happen. Either you will fly in and smack the Liu Bei imposter or you will stand there and watch as Zhuge Liang whaps "him" with his fan.

none of you have mentioned the stand off between Lu Bu and Tadakatsu, approach Lu Bu with Tadakatsu in you team (or visa versa) and you will see a short scene as the two prepare to battle

Well in general i think cutscenes r that extra speciality you get for having / using that group of people, either cos you like or think they're fiery (BLITZ 1000 KO!!!) that u kept em, ofcoz for ones like cao cao with nobunaga u need to do stage 7 befor u gets cao cao >_< so then yea, this threads nice ^^
