SOAD doesn't have too much cursing. The worst I've heard from them was B.Y.O.B. (if I remember right), and even then that wasn't that bad. Sure, it'd be too much to get on the game, but still.

I wonder what they'll announce today... I'm still hoping for a Journey 6 pack. I have 840MS Points, so I'd automatically buy it once released.

Hm, for this week's DLC we have "The Scene" pack, featuring:

“This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race” by Fallout Boy (master)

“Date With The Night” by Yeah Yeah Yeahs (master)

“It Hurts” by Angels & Airwaves (master)

You can buy them for 160 MS points ($1.99) each, or the pack for 440 MS Points ($5.49).

Got to say, I think I'll pick up the Fall-Out Boy song, but that's it.

What a freaking awful song, so bad it's funny.

The last two packs have been shit, IMO.

Why am I bothering with my emergency pack money? I mean what are they gonna release next, a RAP PACK?!?!

I like it. Even if I can appreciate good music, I'm still a kid and will probably be into some mainstream stuff.

I'm very afraid to use my money on it, because I know that as soon as I buy any song, a Journey six-pack will come out the week after. I have 840 emergency points saved, and as soon as I use at least 160, I know something good will come out, and knowing my luck; it'll be the Journey six-pack we've all wanted.

Not a fan of Fall Out Boy, but I would take "This aint a scene" over "Dead on Arrival" anytime. In fact, I would take anything over "Dead on Arrival".

Dead on Arrival was over-charted. Let's hope this song isn't.

Fall Out Boy in general just sucks. I'm still hoping for some RATM or Audioslave to come along. An RATM pack with Killing in the Name, Bulls on Parade, Guerilla Radio, and Calm Like a Bomb would be amazing.

If you want RATM, you'll get it butchered. GH2 shows exactly what I'm talking about.

That's true, but there's nothing to worry about now since nearly all Rock Band DLC are masters. No one can cover RATM, any attempt to ends up terrible.

That's not a good thing. They'd have to either;

A. Blacklist some of their songs. While the ending of "Killing in the Name" with "*bleep* you, I won't do what you tell me!" being repeated over and over, I very much doubt they would allow it unless some heavy editing was done, or;

B. Cover it.

A leads to the songs never being on this game, B leads to a horrible version being on this game.

Quite personally, I'm ashamed of most covers of songs. The only covers I was impressed by were the Rush covers, but I'd prefer to see masters. Anyway, the same goes for Maiden. Just get some master tracks, you've butchered "Trooper" and "Number of the Beast" for us (although you did a great job with Run to the Hills), but seriously; don't butcher anymore great songs for us.

I need more Points. Just finished off the rest of mine today for Working Man, after seeing Ben's vid on it.

Working Man is a great song. Good idea to spend some points on that. We need so much more Rush, as me and Jorge discussed. Basically every Rush song NEEDS to be in the game.
