How do you beat the boss lady with wings that charges you and throws rocks at you. It's the boss you fight after meeting up with the guys daughter in the field. She keeps kicking my butt and I cannot defeat her. Thanks for any help.

You got to use the shield to grab the black energy balls that she throws to you and counter attack her, scape from every other attack.
When she falls into the ground, after a long round of attacks and her energy bar is almost empty, use the shield on the fire circle that appears at the scenario.
You will fire a beam of light that strikes her, you got to beat the minigame in order to defeat her.

Or you could throw your own energy balls, at least until you run out of magic.

Reflect the green orbs.
Cross the room and roll under the green beam.
Run back and forth from the eruptions.
When Persephone is stunnned, use a level 3 Charon's Wrath.
It's hit her about 10 time with one blast.
Then jump in the air and use the R + [] attack.
Once that is done, she'll swoop around and catch you.
[unavoidable]
L+R after she drains you from all your magic and health.
Make sure to do the reaction or it's an automatic death.

yeah.
when her hands glow green, block. try for a counter-block, but dont do if if you diont feel up to it.
when she kicks up a boulder, dodge.dont block, cuz you cant.
use Charon's wrath, as it makes her flinch for a bit, giving you a small opportunity for attack.
when she climbs up the pillars, dodge everything except the energy balls. you have to reflect those.
when she grabs you and the wings start to close in on Kratos, do the L+R command, but be careful, she calls in atlas RIGHT after.
when the finally falls, and starts to curl up into a dark shroud, go on to the light circle and use the sun shield.
this will activate another command prompt sequence. if you fail, you die.but if you do it right, congrats, you beat God of War: CoO

Its pretty Obvious that the thread itself is a spoiler. So anyone that opens the topic should know better. But telling someone how to fight her isn't a spoiler anyway its tips and advice. But i suppose putting that in the initial Question would be better, but he's a newbie he don't know the rules.

Ey guys I'm having alot of trouble with this chick too..
I decided to play through the game on hard mode for my first try (since everybody was saying it was way too easy). It's gone pretty well so far but this chick is making me regret the choice to choose hard mode.
Once I get through the first phase of attacks I'm pretty sure I can handle her based on the advice in this thread. So far I tend to die to quickly to get a feel for a pattern of attack that's effective.
My main problem has been that when I try to block her pending attacks (when her hands glow) she gets right past my sheild. The only time it works is when I manage to parry (which is usually luck so you know). Any suggestions on this particular part of the battle would be helpful. Whats the trick?

I had loads of touble with her on Hard mode. In the beggining you have to dodge the rocks and then block the attacks when she throws her self at you.Keep doing that until she grabds you and throws you into Atlas. You must do all the button combinations. If you do not it is an automatic death. Now this is the 2nd phase in which you must fight her.First she is going to throw green energy balls at you.Press L right before she hits you and send it back.Later on she will also send them back to be prepared to hit them back again.Go up and do Charons magic when shes up there on the column and you send the green energy ball back once. That will hurt her and cause her to fall.Take out your Gauntlet and hit her.Now she will start to shoot out her beams.Run all the way to the other side of the Area and then dodge under it if it keeps going.Keep doing this until she throws another green energy ball. Now repeat the first step. Now she will start using this ectoplasma attack and the beam alot more often and her attacks become stronger.Just jump over the ectoplasma and dodge the beams.Repeat step one.Once she falls north of the shining light on the floor go and hold L and start pressing O.You will start having to press buton combinations.Don't get any wrong or you die.

Hi Guys,
I'm pretty sure that most of you are having problems with the 1st phase of the fight when Persephone is throwing the rocks and doing that charge attack. Here is all you need to know for this phase (it works as I used this method to beat the game on God difficulty)
The main thing here is to keep your distance, dont try to block or reflect any of her attacks in this phase of the fight it's too risky and use your blades instead of the gauntlet as it has more range. When she starts to power up her charge attack roll to the left or right to avoid it, if your still quite close to her then roll again to get some distance then immediately use the ^^^ attack as the last hit of this does more damage than most combos. As long as you keep your distance and roll left or right to avoid the rocks when she kicks them, you will be fine. Also dont be afraid to use your magic, I prefer to use the Efreet on this part of the battle and switch to Charon's Wrath on phase 2. Your magic will be refilled for the 2nd phase of the battle so make the most of it.

^ It's even easier than that. For the first phase where she throws chunks of land at you, make sure you've unlocked Tartarus' Rage or whatever it's called with the Blades, the L+Triangle attack.
Just jump above her and use that in the air repeatedly.

Works on normal at least.
