I just finished episode 2. Awesome freaking game but wtf is up with the ending? Why can't they just end the damn thing instead of making more freaking expansion packs.

I actually love that part of bioshock...what it was is that everything was too fast and easy. I thought every encounter would be hard and memorable. But it ended up being like most fps...everything just fodder for you to shoot. Even Big Daddies were fairly easy.

There's just episode three and that's the last expansion pack. Valve says that's not the end of the Half Life franchise, though.

I had never played a Half-Life game before, but damn, HL2 is just *bleep*ing awesome. I honestly didn't think the game would be this long either. I cant believe I got all these games for only 60 bucks, haha.

Hard to say if its the best FPS I've ever played. Call of Duty 2 is pretty high on my list, but the two games are hard to compare.

Yes both Half Life and Half life 2 have multiplayer on the pc

Half-Life 2 is AMAZING. I love how everything is so... interactive, things happen around you in real time, it's just great.

I wish it had multiplayer though, I guess that what TF2 is for though.

I like HL2, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best FPS ever. I wouldn't even put it in my top 10 tbh.

@jonnyblack1301:If you were not interested in the story halfway through, keep playing anyway. The ending is the best I have seen.

I personally prefer COD 4 to TF2, and Bioshock to Half life anything. Bioshock reminded me of Project Snowblind in terms of game play, which was one of my favorite FPS last gen because of the powers and multiple paths and ways to play. Portal is cool though, have tried it out but not bought it yet. So know this is not IMO the best fps, but I cant deny it is not a great game even though I do not like it that much.

I would have to agree. I love the story of half life! Plus the graphics are amazing. I was into halo for a long time but still I am not as happy with the 3rd one. I believe it ruined the series, especially with the multiplayer.


But nothing beats Ultimate Doom
