KOTN is an expansion pack(can also get GOTY) it includes saving Oblivion from Umarial, and you must take the place of a "Fallen God." You get fairly good items throughout the Questline, if you have money to blow buy this with MP's or get the GOTY edition :]

Yes but after you complete the questline you must maintain an infamy of 2 or less or else you won't be able to equip the armor you were rewarded with. To counter act this you can redo the shrines quest clearing you of all of your infamy.
