I'm a huge sniper so I tend to set up claymores to guard myself, but half of the time when I'm sniping someone will come up behind me and kill me. I haven't heard the claymore go off, they couldn't possible sneak around it, and this all before I die. Then I'm left trying to figure out how they did it.

It's not like they can diffuse the claymore. Any help will be would be appreciated.

Your placing them with the lasers so their trippable?

people can set it off, move back and run and kill you.
maybe when they set it off, you think its a grenade explosion...?
try setting them in un-viewable places, so they dont expect it

They are trippable and they are usually hidden. And I am sure I don't mistake it for a grenade. It's almost like they just ignore it.

wat u said isint really helpful u need to give us an example and wat peolpe said about the grenade could be true like ur in a building some1 chucks a grenade in which blows up the claymore at the same time

It could very well be an airstrike that destroys them. That also covers up the noise of them blowing up.

You sure the Claymores weren't passable? When hunting snipers most of their claymores are badly placed. Most of the time I walk on the outskirts of the room and I can get by without setting it off.

its as simple as your not placing your claymore in predictable or untrippable (thats right i made up a word) place

Be sure you are planting the claymore in the right place. And be aware of your surroundings. If you're in a broken down room with a wall or roof missing, usually there are many entrances, or even if you are in a small little room, be sure you are aware of the windows or other openings around you.

Where was this? Describe where you were and where you planted them. There could very well be somewhere where they can sneak through or something.
Sometimes you wouldnt hear them go off if it was an airstrike or whatever and sometimes there might just be enough room for someone to walk through if theres space
