Sam Fisher returns for a 5th installment for the groundbreaking, stealth based action game. 2 years after the events of Double Agent, Sam comes out of hiding because of an unspecified danger to his friend and co-worker Anna Grimsdóttír. Upon his return to Third Echelon, he discovers the organization has fallen into disarray caused by bureaucratic limitations and internal power struggles. Incensed by the inability of Third Echelon to do what's right, Sam strikes out on his own.
Producing and developing the game will be Ubisoft Montreal which has created Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the next-gen versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. The game will be published by Ubisoft

one thing I want to know is "Why no PS3 for this." everywhere I see is Xbox only

What do you mean? Why isn't Splinter Cell: Conviction on PS3? I dunno... maybe cuz its an Xbox exclusive? Or just because the Xbox is a million times better.

I don't think Splinter Cell was ever exclusive to Xbox.

Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and even Double Agent for PS2 but no signs for a PS3 version of Conviction.

Though there should be, there's not. The_Don was right, when he said that all the others were for PS2, and I have most, but The Xbox360 version of Double Agent seems better than the PS2.
