Yes. As long as it plugs into your Playstation 2, it'll work.

I've heard GH1 doesn't always work with one of them, but GH2, 3 and 80s can all run off the same PS2 controllers.

I am still using my original GH1 controller with my GH3. I personally like it better than all of the other types.

Yeah but GH3 might not work with GH1...I heard something
I like the new GH3 Ps2 one SO much more than that ugly little GH2 one.

No, sorry.
If you mean running it on a PS2, it really is impossible.
If you mean using the game and controller on a PS3, I still don't think it will, but ask the guy in this thread. He seems to have tried and had some issues.
