Your guess is as good as mine. I have heard rumors of a sequel, but nothing has been verified yet. Once you beat the game, decide for yourself whether there should be a sequel. I won't spoil anything for you, but let's just say that a couple things are left unfinished.

Hell'ow, I'm The Unforgiven.
I think ED is one of the best horror-games ever because it has a constant atmosphere of threath, and it has a sanity system which really make the game more realistic I'd even say.
