I was at Game Stop and they had the actual game in the display case that they set up so you can test games. It was for PS3 and I played it for about twenty minutes and I loved it. The only problem was that they didn't have the game for 360 at the time and now I don't have the cash to purchase it. When I do get the cash I'm definitely going to buy it.
Thefuzz, my rule for purchasing games is in steps..
Step 1.) Go to your local game rental store and rent the game you're interested inf or one night.
Step 2.) Play the game for about four hours while you have it in your possession
Step 3.) Figure out if you like the game enough to buy it..
Step 4.) Return the game
Step 5.) Go buy the game or don't.
Edit: I just rented this game and here's what I think after playing for about two hours.
Out of the first three characters you can play as in Original Mode my favorite is Domon. Probably because he's mostly melee and I love that spinning attack you do with the two button combo. I like to follow that up by performing the combo and right before the spin ends hitting dash towards an enemy followed by attack.
His SP attacks are awesome too. I increased his SP attack by stat 50% in one level!If you like fighting insane amounts of enemies in a good old beat 'em up fashion then I would buy it.
Draw Backs
1. Each level takes around 20 minutes to complete if you don't go right for the main targets.
2. It's the same stuff over and over through out the entire game
3. There is a wide variety of unlockable characters but there could have easily been a lot more.
4. You could pretty much beat the entire game by just randomly smashing attacks buttons and the dash button.

This game to me is worth buying, it can get kind of dumb but it gives you fun for hours.
