The subtitles and thread titles look much better now, good job. I'm not too fussed about a footer competition, I'm sure as this is a PES forum it will generate decent interest, so go for it.

What could we possibly do to keep the forum up and running, so people don't start losing interest fast?

Right, what we really need is something that has never happened in any PES forum before, something that we'll look back and say "Hey, that was a great thread!". If it means going slightly off-topic I don't mind, but as long as it's enjoyable and livens up the forum, I'm happy.

How about PES 08 Interviews. In a nutshell, you interview members, like what used to happen in Loungin'. I think it will be a good idea to learn a little bit more about the community.

That's a good idea. It could get more members to settle also and feel at home here which is what we, or at least I want here. I think that would be a good idea.

In all honesty, I don't think it would be very suitable to have an interview thread in the forum, considering it's a completely PES related one unlike Loungin' which is open to all topics. If you think interviews are a good idea, I think you should do what Mitch did for the FM forum and interview people over MSN/IRC, and then add it to your Neohome and give people the link in the GD or something.
At the end of the day it's up to you, but that's just my opinion on the matter.
Note: I know Will didn't suggest an interview thread, exactly.

I brought up the idea a while back in the SmackDown! vs. Raw 08 forum/ I,II. It turned out a success.

Yeah, I'm not saying it wouldn't succeed, I just think interviews shouldn't really have their own threads in specific game related forums.
