Subject: Difference Between Pc Version And Console Version

am not really talking about graphics here, because i know some cards can make cod4 totaly beautifull on pc but alot of ppl cant afford those cards, so i take it 70% ppl cod4 on pc doesnt look as gd as console version.
anyway as i said forget graphics, i want to know about maps etc, are they bigger or what? also what about challenges etc as well are they the same? is the layout much better? one last thing is the gameplay better or worse with more ppl on those regular sized maps?

Same maps, same size, i think the XBOX has like one more challenge, and also Xbox can only support 16 players per game, unlike the PC version which can hold like, 60+.

console version supports 18 not 16....and that was one of the questions since the maps are the same size is the gameplay any better or worse due it being cramped and to amny ppl? 18 is plenty to me on those maps, anymore and it would be a blood bath and struggle to get kills sometimes due to ppl aiming at the same targets.

The PC one rocks for online play and stuff....
But when it comes to graphics and just normal story mode,PS3 pwns all!!!!

but some people dont have the PS3 so theyd rather just get it on the PC XD...

PC version must obviously only have graphics as good as the video card, but I can't imagine aiming a sniper rifle on a console.

not anymore, IW released a patch for console gamers to make sniping easier, at least its not as bad as halos assisted aim...
One possible benefit to pc is that we are the only platform that has a shot of not having to pay for the new map pack coming out (IW is currently undecided on charging for the pc map pack)

I was reading a Hyper magazine the other day, and noticed the orange box review. They said that there was no difference between console and pc, except TF2 was alot more intense on the pc. I think this applies here too. But dont get me wrong the console version is just as good.

I'm glad there isn't a really big difference. I would normally go for the console version, but since I can't afford a PS3, I'm sticking with this version.

i'm a veteran pc and console gamer and am yet to try out cod4 for my 360, but, from what i see, the console has alot more bugs in it (exploit wise) and newer maps/guns, but the pc basically can support much more players, id say its even.
and as for sniping with a joystick, gimme a sniper in halo 3 and i will destroy your soul.

OMFG, this is a huge misconception, you can match console graphics on PC with a 7600gs which costs £50 now, thats what i had in my old pc and i thought the textures looked better than on xbox 360, everythign is better about teh pc version. the console version is for *bleep*ing noobs
