Redirecting is fine, I appreciate members trying to help out. It's best with a reporting of the post if it's a thread that needs my attention though which has been neglected of late.
What I don't want to see is just a post of someone telling someone they're doing something wrong and not reporting the post. It's basically trying to act like a Moderator and of no help to me at all. Replying to say something is spam is effectively spam in itself.

Suggestion: Changing the colours of the forum when the new header/footer are put up, perhaps?

I'll get onto those now thanks guys. As for changing the forum colours, it is something I will be playing around with. I also want to develop a theme for Christmas or not to keep it fun for everyone.
I've also been considering a thread to try and generate more discussion on the forum. I've noticed that Shedinja one has generated page after page.
I'm proposing to you a thread which sort of features a new Pokemon for a certain amount of time where people can discuss it. Do you think it would go well?

I noticed it attracts people who don't really use the General Discussion, so it should lead to some healthy discussion value.
I'll consider it over the next few days, if anyone wants to add anything I'm more than happy to listen.

So are you thinking of having something like they had in Diamond.. that Pokemon of the Week thing? I'll be willing to help with that as well if you need.

Didn't know Diamond had one, since I lost my regular status there a long time ago.
Pokemon of the Week sounds good to me. ^^
Now assuming there's a couple of people helping, we would have the choice of the owners taking rotations on choosing the next Pokemon or we can let the thread participators vote.

Owners rotating for the win. Every 3-5 days one person posts a Pokemon + info/stats etc, then we all discuss.

Ok well the Pokemon Discussion thread is going good so far.
I just wanted to make a teeny announcement to make sure no one misses out on anything. I took the teams guidelines thread out of the header of the forum, seeming as I unfloated it because we only really use the GD but that's a good thing.
I replaced it with a link to the introductions thread. It's still nicely balanced and I doubt all of you noticed it anyway! So yeah, just so everyone's kept up to date.
