Advance Wars: Days of Ruin Forum Rules


  • Hey, if you have not read them yet, then please read the Forumwide Rules of Conduct, Etiquette And Acceptable Behavior




    • No Spamming
      • Useless messages with either no substance or no point at all is spamming. Posts like "ok", "cool", or "lol" is spamming. Neoseeker is not AIM or MSN, so we expect you to post messages with at least one good sentence.
    • No Double Posting
      • Double posting is when you post more than once in a row. It is not allowed and is considered spam, so wait until someone replies or edit your post.
    • Stay On Topic
      • Every thread has it's own certain topic(s). Do not start a new topic in a regular thread, instead make new one for it.
    • No Flaming
      • Flaming is when you argue, yell, or or call another member an offensive name. Flaming will not be tolerated in the forums, so take it to pm or ignore the person who started it.
    • No Flooding
      • When you post spam in a lot of the forum threads just to see your name all over the forum, you are flooding. There is no point in doing this, and spam is already against the rules, so save yourself some time and post correctly.
    • No Advertising
      • Adevertising other sites anywhere on Neoseeker is not allowed. You may however, put a link in your profile or signature without getting in trouble.
    • No Memberating
      • Memberating is when you act like a moderator when you are not one. Real moderators and even members find this annoying, so don't go throwing your weight around with no power to back yourself up.
    • No Game Threads
      • Do not start game threads without a moderator's permission. If you do, it will be closed immediately since without supervision, they can get out of hand.
      • Deathsythe Edit- I will allow some game threads if anyone wants to make them, perhaps a CO Hurt/Heal for starters, and we can see how it goes from there.
    • No General Help Threads
      • It is against Neoseeker's rules to make threads offering help. If you want to help, post in threads that have already been made that ask questions. Helping is what the entire forum is for. If everything was all packed into one thread, what purpose would the rest of the forum serve? Not much.
    • Use The Report Feature
      • It would also be a big help and greatly appreciated that if you see someone breaking the rules within the forum, that you report their message(s) using the report button located in the bottom, right-hand corner of their post. If they are excessively spamming or rule-breaking to the point where it's impossible to ignore, please report it to the section mod or a super mod via NeoPM immediately.


  • Important Note about Help Threads.
  • I would rather not see a million different help threads for C26 or C15, so in an effort to prevent this, please reference the thread index to see if there is an already pre-existing thread of that nature.
  • If you do make a help thread, please include what mission it is in the title (ie- C14, C21, etc...) Threads titled "Help Me!!", or "I Need help!?" is really not helpful for anyone, (including those who can/want to help you)



    Clans


    Here are the guidelines to start a clan:

  • Have [Clan] at the start of your thread name.

  • You must have at least 3 members before you can start.

  • Your first post must be organized, with relevant information about the clan. Aims, members list, friend codes etc.

  • You can't have a link to your clan site in your posts, as it is advertising and against Neoseeker Rules.

  • Do not post in a clan thread unless you have permission from the clan leader.

  • Stay on topic at all times. This means about the game or your clans issues. Repeated off-topic spamming may result in a warning and then a ban.

    • I have altered the rules a bit, please read over them again.
  • Updated the list to include the Character Discussions and Tournament threads (02.26.08)


  • Did my best to do a quick update. Put in new clans, and a handful of new threads that I caught on the first page.

  • Added several threads that I missed. It seems the [link name] error has migrated north into the Help section. Added Sprites Thread to the important threads list.

  • Added a bunch of new threads to the index. Made a new section for the few games we have going on at the moment. Still can't figure out why there is an error in the list at the end of the "Help threads" section, but the link to "The Great Owl" redirects to the where to find my friendcode thread, and the friendcode thread link doesn't even show,so something is really messed up.

    Reason: The reason for this Ban.
    PPD Restrictions: The PPD Restriction of the person during the Ban.
