I was wondering if we could have a map gallery, even though you can't save and stuff, people could still make maps to show them off and practice? Or do we need a mod for that?

Yon don't need a mod for that, so long as it's staying on topic. You should probably just convert this thread into it. It might me a good idea to ask a section mod like Mishtram (I can't remember who the other guy is-_-) to remove sigs from the thread to speed the page loading of lots of pics.

Looks good! The worst part about RMVX (In my opinion) is that things like high grass and water are far to angular... But then again, it was no different in RMXP, right?

I'm happy about the long grass autotile, better then xp, but I still haven't figured out how to do 2 layer mountain things, with ledges ontop of ledges, cause they all blend together.

Yeah, you're right about that ... It'd be easy if we had layers still, but we don't... So alas, we cannot figure that out at the present time .

Not a very good map but is this what you are talking about with the cliffs?

I think it is... But hey, you have a problem with the stairs, like the dark part... Or did you mean to do that?

Jayden; The dark part is the shadow cast by the hedges, i think.

Breynne; Nice, but a little square.

See what I mean?

And WHAT, pray tell, do you mean by 'dusty'?

There's the grassland, the snow, the desert and the dust. I seperated them into four types. What i mean by dusty is dust/plains graphics (base and grass etc.)

I've just decided I want to start a mapping tutorial lol. I'm to lazy to take screenshots in step-by-step though.

Ingame of a small snow village.
