I setting up an online petition for people to sign if they want a sequel to be made of the game, as I know a lot of people are interested in it (some I know are not). I am planning to send it to Capcom when there is like 1000 + signatures and I would be grateful if you could publicise it on other places on the web. So here's the link:-

Thanks

Hate to burst your bubble, but unfortunately, it would never work. Clover split up from Capcom and the first one didn't even sell very well to begin with.

I would, personally, LOVE to see an Okami sequel.

But as Ngamer said, it wouldn't work.

I would want a sequal a lot too (the first game actually sets up quite well for a sequal), but alas, the sales were too low.

It's so devastating pouring your heart and soul into making an origional and amazing masterpiece then watch it do so incredibly poorly while Carnival Games and Wii Music fly off the shelves.

Though while Okami remains unheard of, the 400,000 or so people who bought it will have this in their Top 10 forever.

I'm EXTREMELY annoyed at how under appreciated Okami is. I read a lot of gaming magazines, and they all have brilliant things to say about it but after the review, it's like it never existed.

I agree with Dragon ZERO. It's a pain in the butt watching awesome games like this being cast into a trash can while third rate games like Dogz, Carnival and Sims 2 Pets being reccomending as gaming gods.
-pukes in a corner -

What really surprised me is that one of GAME's Deputy Managers commented highly on a third rate game.

I can't remeber the exact words but it went something like this:

High School Musical 3

" This is what the Wii was made for! "

WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING TO THE GAMING WORLD!!! If this is what high positions in the gaming world are saying, then we can kiss goodbye to MArio, Zelda and Okami and hello to Dogz, Babysitting Party and the trash alike!

I would kill for a sequel for this game, and i think it is just getting cast aside, even when it beats 99 percent of all the other games out there. But everyone who has played this game will have it in their hearts forever,it is 100 percent my number 1 game. im just mad that stupid capcom split up from clover studios:# And is there any way to sign the petition without making a donation?

A sequel for this game would be really cool... but I hardly think there would be one. It's sad....
I would personally love to have another one come out!
But all I can do is hope that maybe they might. Or make a new adventure or something.
