Subject:   How the heck do you unlock Alex Kidd?

It says to beat the Special Stage in Bronze Doubles. How many points do you need to even GET to the Special Stage in Bronze? I've gotten well over 10 mil before, and still nothing. Then I saw another hint that says to get over 10 mil in any tournament and that didn't work either. I've unlocked everyone except Alex Kidd.
