On a possible release date for the patch, he says that there has yet to be an exact date for the release.

But I traded it and X-Blades for RE5, so no huge complaints here. Though I may just rent it to snag a good few of the trophies...

I just got the upgrade. Trophy support is nice. But I'm noticing a small upgrade to the game in other places. A few glitches have been cleared up. And there are a few things I don't think were there before. Like I remember walking up to that octopus and thinking it was weird how it just sat there. Now it's arms swing out and strike me HARD if I get in the same room.
