Alright, here it is. Branching off from the "Which is better thread?" is WO Situations. Here is how it works:
Post a question, if you were in the WO world, where you find yourself in a tight situation. For example:
Who would you save? The field medic or your close friend?
After a person answers it, you could either continue with the same question or ask a different one.
So, you all know how it works, so let's begin.

Aha! good job on setting it up!

I shall answer your example question - I would save my close friend which perhaps is slightly selfish, saving one life rather than another who could possibly save many others, but there's no way that I could dash of to save a stranger and let somebody I know well die before my eyes

It's a good question so I think I'll keep it going for whoever is next

Who would you save - The field medic or your close friend?

One more thing: Give a brief explanation of the question.
This particular field medic, is the only one of it's kind. It can heal ANYBODY in a short amount of time, but is seconds away from death, while your close friend, whose been with you together, ever since you met each other, is also about to die in a few seconds.

I'd choose the medic. One vs one million its obvious who you would save. He may be my close friend but hes dieing for a cause that makes him fight. If he wouldn't want to die fighting he shouldn't be fighting at all.
Same question.

Hmm, even with the super-medic, I still don't think I would be able to leave my close friend to die

Not the logical choice I know but seeing the death of a friend would just be unbearable...if that happened I would be sure to charge wildly into the enemy as a means of ending my life.
A new question - you have been given orders by your commander, whom you get along very well with, to raid and destroy a village housing innocent civilians. This you know to be wrong. Do you:
1. Carry out the order anyway?
2. Refuse the order but remain honorable and face any punishment your commander gives you (heavy lashings or perhaps even execution)?
3. Refuse the order and defect to another force to escape any punishment you may be given?

YAY! I've been waiting for this!

Hmmm... answering Artirtico's question:
It depends. If my commander is Lu Xun, then I will do it, even if I must kill the peasant. Or maybe I can suggest him not to do that. But, if he had decided to do so, I'll obey him (which is impossible for him to order me to do this).
If my commander is NOT Lu Xun, first, I'll refuse the order and I'll defect and I'll seek a better master. Who knows I'll find Lu Xun as my master

?
I'll ask the same question!

You are a cold-hearted person then. Even if Lu Xun is your commander, you still shouldn't take innocent lives.. Think: What about all the children and all the people around them? All their dreams would go into ash. Their lives, shot, by a tyrant! Yes, that's what the people would call you, Mystic, that's what they will call you. How are you going to live, with your soul plagued with innocent blood? How? You will suffer Mystic, if you do that. And, you will always feel guilty, for this.
Sorry, but due to my sense of justice, I have to argue against that point. Sorry if I made you feel bad, Mystic. Blame my sense of honor and justice.

I pick choice #2. I would take the beating, rather then let all the innocent lives perish to dust. Even if I am executed, I will just say how much of a tyrant, my commander is and forever make the commander suffer, with my words.
Yeah, yeah, even if I am evil, I'm still honorable. I still wouldn't kill innocent people.
Same question.

I'm that cold-hearted, you know

I just want to do it if Lu Xun order me to do it. Which is impossible, because he's a good guy and I'm sure he never orders me to do it. Before I do it, I will first tell him that it is a wrong doing and no one should do it. But, if he really that cold-hearted, I'll do it, even is I must suffer forever. That's the price of a loyalty.
Furthermore, if the commander is NOT Lu Xun, I'll do the same as you.

I don't blame you at all, Spawn. Feel free to argue. I understand your point.
Hey, but I never will take the option no. 2! I've said that I won't die for anyone other than Lu Xun, haven't I? Why should I suffer the punishment if it isn't my fault? I'll defect of course.
In the other word:
I'll be loyal to LU XUN! One and only!

I choose the third choice! if my commanding officer demanded i spill innocents blood, i would not take that order and immediately desert him. He would be a tyrant, as spawn said. an i wouldn be beaten by a tyrant. I wouldfind a general who actually values life and not the killing of peasants.
New question everybody!!
Say you are in the middle of a siege and th castle is putting up quite a fight. what would you do if the resistance surrendered to you, but only after killing all in your family?
would you
A. let them live but remain their enemy
B. execute them all
C. become friends with them because they would give you the castle once it was rebuilt.

Choice A. One wrong does not equal to another and killing innocent blood, is not the way of the honorable. So, I would kill them in battle, instead.
Same question.

Hmm, good question...I don't think I could become friends with anyone who killed my family. However, since they made the effort to surrender, it wouldn't be right to execute them in my eyes so I'm going with Spawn with choice A

I would just send them on there way (after accepting the castle of course) and remain ready to fight them if need be.
Hmm, good question so lets stick with it - same question!

Hey, great question there, 5Rings!
But, so sorry, again, my answer is...
It DEPENDS
I don't know about family there. But if they kill Lu Xun, I will choose B.
I WILL EXECUTE THEM ALL FOR KILLING LU XUN!!!!!

If they just kill my family, without killing Lu Xun, I will forgive them. Hey, maybe I will choose the C. I will accept their help and together build a new castle. That's it!
In short:
It's B when they also kill Lu Xun
It's C when they kill my family, but not Lu Xun
(not for being rude, friends, but I find no benefit in choice A...

)
Interesting question! I want to see other members' answer! So, same question!

Hehe

I did kinda rework the answer slightly there I guess

Claiming the castle is just my way of making up for the killing of my family before sending them away...I know that C is possibly the most sensible choice but I wouldn't be able to be friends with somebody who did that...but since they surrendered to me, it wouldn't feel right to execute them so to be option A is the sort of compromise
