Subject: unlocking final races?

Hello all.
Surprisingly, I couldn't find even a remote answer to this anywhere on the net. I've got gold on every Festival event but there are still locked tracks in each zone. What gives? How do you unlock the rest of the tracks? Does it have anything to do with getting trophies? Thanks.

Sounds a bit weird. The way I did it both times was to start from the first category (Water zone?), do all the possible races in that, then move on to the next category (fire zone?) and do all the possible races on that, then move down to the next zone and so on. Once I finished the last zone I went back up to the first one where an eliminator and speed events were unlocked, along with a couple of races. I did those, moved down to the next zone with newly unlocked events and repeated the cycle.
I can't see any explanation other than you've missed one or more events along the line somewhere.

What I think your missing are the requirements to unlock those races. Just getting all golds isn't enough to open all the events....For example, you need to finish a race without crashing your vehicle so many times or finish the race within a certain time requirement. Check the 'tickets' on the races before the locked ones and it should either give you a wreck limit or time limit to unlock the following races.

Exactly right! Yesterday I spent some time and figured that out. On some on the races I had won gold but not stayed under the 3 limit crash, or not done the race in less than the 'target' time. I did a few yesterday and unlocked the other events. Thanks for the replies.
