if you have read in some of the interveiws there are several new features one of them is you will have to buy your fuel unless you want your car to be stuck in the middle of no where but of course you will have to pay for it with the money you earn in the game

Thats stupid. Buying fuel to keep the car running in a video game is just bothersome.Author: hard

That was in the first Mafia as well. If I remember right the cars very rarely ran out of fuel and if they did you could just find a car lying about that you knew how to steal and take off in that.
Pretty pointless really but all apart of the "realism" I guess.

^I actually never ran out of fuel during my playthrough, except during my first time in the 1st mission. I knew you could run out of fuel, but not that you could buy it.
