Since I dont own the game yet, this is something I am confused about. The game is divided into years? How does it work out? Details please.

In the game, you have to go out and find trees which will give you special droplets to keep the evil mist away from your village. Once you collect three droplets, one year will pass. You keep going through these years, and some events will occur during them, and the Miasma streams will also change their element. Once you pass a certain amout of years (either 8 or 9), you will be able to complete the game!

OK PEOPLE!!! THE GAME HAS AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF YEARS!!! Every year goes by when you get three drops of myrrh. Plus you need to get all the artifacts to beat it 100%. Oh, toad oil can be obtained by Gigan Toads, which are both found in Conall Curach and Ve Lou Sluice.

Yeah, some are immune to some magic atks. Like the first boss is immune to thunder attacks.

Thank you for the reply. Probably I should be able to understand the concept of the game more deeply when I actually get it. Thanks again!

Ŧ - There isn't much of a story though, so the game isn't fun if you don't have a few friends to play it with.

i rented this game, and i have a question. in the neoseeker walkthrough, it says to create characters with all 8 jobs (alchemist, blacksmith, etc.) to get the most out of the game in single player mode. how exactly do i do this, and how can i get the benefits of all 8 when i'm only playing with one player??

Well, it really won't do you much good to have a fisherman/miller/rancher/farmer because as far as I've seen, you have to be related to them for them to actually do anything. The job for your main character should be achlemist because thats the only way to obtain the best weapon/armor designs. Blacksmith and Merchant are very helpful during the first years of your game.

have you read the walkthrough on this website though? it says to make a character with all 8 professions, even if you dont plan on ever using the. he says doing this will let you get the benefits of ALL the professions. is this correct??

Um, I'm really not sure, but I've made 8 characters and only the Blackmsmith, Taylor and Merchant do anything. (I didn't choose Achlimist as my main char. ><)

so when you start your single player game, you should just choose alchemist (if you are only going to play one character)? you dont need to worry about creating 8 different characters??

If you're going to do 1 player mode I suggest you make achlemist your main character, and then make a blacksmith and a merchant. If you want you can go ahead and make the other 5 just so your town doesn't look so deserted.
