This thread will be able to serve as a journal for people who are playing the imported version of Heart Gold or Soul Silver to give updates if they choose as to where they're at in the game and what their current lineup consists of. For those of you who don't yet have the game, you can share what you want your team to look like. Don't be afraid to make new posts if something changes or if you want advice on what to change on your team if it doesn't hold up!

I'm currently doing a bit more level grinding before taking on Red to get my team's average level above 60. I'll update this with EVs once my team reaches 100.

don't have the game yet but this is what it will consist of:

Feraligatr: hydro pump, ice fang, earthquake, surf

Skarmory: fly, steel wing, ?, ?

Tyranitar: EQ, stone edge, crunch, giga impact

Dragonite: outradge, aqua tail, EQ, fire fang

ho-oh: sacred fire, solarbeam, flamethrower, suny day

raikou: thunder, thunderbolt, rain dance, calm mind

Wait, you can get Skarmory in the original Gold? Wait. Let me rephrase that. WHERE can you get Skarmory in the original Gold/Silver/Crystal? I mean, I knew it was there, but I didn't know where to find it, since I saw it in the manga.

Skarmory can rarely be found on Route 45 in Silver and Crystal. Gold players have to find someone that's willing to share. The same thing applies in Soul Silver and Heart Gold except it's an uncommon instead of a rare.
