I havent played this version for a while im playing the WII version atm but from memory the dragon bane sword is bought in the snow city cant remember the name think its called Orkutsk or something like that as for the dragon scales you can win them from "Hackasaurus" in the royal hunting ground
Dragonsbane + Mighty Armlet = Dragon Slayer (Alchmay recipe) for improved version of dragonbane sword
