-------------------------------------------
Some time back, I along with a bunch of other members were working on a FE fan project under the title "Fire Emblem: The Seven Songs". Needless to say, it never ended up taking off, but I've been thinking about it a lot lately since I've been doing a bunch of work with my original character - Satchel.

Major props to the man who made this mug (I sadly cannot remember who you are).

I expect to use this guy a lot more in my future works, but I get rather nostalgic when I think of just how much was put into the project. The characters, the story, and those of you that helped me out. For those who weren't around, I guess I'll shed a bit of light on things.

Satchel, as a child, fled from home to escape his abusive father, a woodcutter known as Byron.

His dear sister Melody decided to tag along with him on account she couldn't bear being alone.

Since they didn't really have anything in the way of skills (except for Satchel's adequate skill with a sword), Satchel resulted to thievery to keep him and his sister alive and well. He was never bitter about this - being together was a big help to morale. After some time, the pair met a bishop by the name of Woodwynn.

*Insert picture I wish I had. We never made one for the character*

Woodwynn came to be one of their closest friends. He told Satchel of a great treasure to be found at a royal palace that would be able to end their pitiful way of living if he could fetch himself the gold from selling it. The naive swordsman and thief jumps on the idea immediately. That night he found what he was looking for, but much to his dismay it was a cursed bracer of sorts that sealed itself to his left arm. It stole nearly all his energy, and on top of that most of the power he'd gained from his training up until this time. To make matters worse, he was caught by the castle guards and severely beaten. Now on the street in the black of a rainy night, Satchel nearly came to his death. It was at this time, however, that Melody happened to find him. Using all her strength, she dragged Satchel to an old, abandoned fort in a nearby forest, were she tended to his wounds. It was here that the two found out that her singing voice was very stunning, and more than that, magical (she is of the Troubadour class in our drafts, which is a special class - a mounted dancer you could say). Now knowing of her talent, she began to work in an effort to repay her brother's efforts.

Flash forward a few years. Satchel is now 19, Melody around 16. Where Satchel is one of the most infamous outlaws of the time at a bounty of 1 million gold and climbing, Melody is a famous pop idol. Needless to say, this makes their relationship fairly complicated to maintain, but they make due however they can. Satchel has a friend called Cyrus.

(Hm... should probably have blue hair)

He is a loyal individual and gung-ho about helping out his friend whatever the situation may be (he is an Archer). Melody also has her own best friend who doubles as her bodyguard who's name is Jessica (Pegasus Knight).

The four often get together through arranged meetings. Satchel and Jessica tend to bicker a lot because of their clash in personalities and views, but that doesn't stop the group from being close-knit. One day the group travels to the main continent (they live on an island nation off the coast of it). There they end up encountering some dudes in cloaks and get wrapped up in their adventure from there. The head of this organization is a woman named Artemis who is going on about divine judgment or something along those lines. Cleansing the world of all evil and that kinda noise. Woodwynn, as it so happens, appears as an npc a few times throughout the planned game and turns out to be Artemis's right hand man.

The group of 4 gets split up for reasons I can't recalls and doesn't reunite for awhile, forcing Satchel to make new comrades. The first of these are Nathaniel (Mage who ends up being Satchel's tactician) and his sister Vixie (loli pegasus knight ahoy).

Some others include Xavier (Myrmidon), Anne (Pirate), Vladimir (Dragon Rider), and Elizabeth (Archer).

(k those Clarine eyes are freaky as hell)

(I want to eat her hair ffs)

Somewhere in here he gets involved with a royal house of sorts. After sorting out the differences, he gets a ton of knights in tow. Morty (Knight), Perry (Knight), Martin (Soldier), Evan (Cavalier), Miles (Cavalier), Dean (Paladin) and probably a prepromo General in there too somewhere but I dunno.

In plot related news, there are 7 forbidden songs that the party will need to use in order to stop Artermis's shenanigans. There is a dancer or bard for each of these. All of these people hate each other and will refuse to be deployed with any other. Ashton, Kate, Joseph, Alyssa, and... hm. Doesn't seem we finished these people.

Cameos by the FE8 classes in the form of a couple messengers and badasses. Saphira (Valkyrie), Topazen (Mage Knight), Axel (Wyvern Knight), and Victor (Rogue). Oh lol so Morty is a Great Knight, not a Knight.

Other random dudes of undetermined importance include Chazz (Mercenary), Veronica (also a Mercenary), Thomas (Fighter), Anton (Monk), Zander (Shaman), and Ellen (Peg Knight).

OBLIGATORY BADASS CALLED SHEEN (SWORDMASTER).

EQUALLY OBLIGATORY RENAULT WANNABE NAMED SOLOMON (BISHOP).

Who is Justin? I don't know anymore, but he's cool.

The idiot they come across in the desert - the brigand Toby.

...

There are probably some others I'm leaving out, but I guess ya'll get the drift by now.

TL;DR

Let's reminisce. Also thanks guise. D:

Isn't Sheen a recoloured version of EtS's personal mug?

I remember before he became a dick and flamed Simon every chance he got. Does that count as a reminiscence?

Badass monk much?
Seems more like the type that is in your party to fulfill his own ambitions which he hides behind a fake smile and is actually the alter-ego of one of the groups most hated enemies.
He gives me a Black Knight feel. I dunno why. :3

Yeah, and I don't even know why.

He was even a moderator at one stage...

I remember seeing it in my days as a *bleep* who fought with Hot Head all the time, but never participated in it. Hmm. Miss the days in whence I openly flamed people and Enhance let me away with it.

Also, 10 cookie points to whoever knows who I am. ;D

Are you a person who is posting in the Fire Emblem forum on Neoseeker?

I know not about these others, but I, kind sir, am not.

I remember this, and wishing I could make sprites and whatnot. I also remember EtS before he became an abysmal person, before he fought with HH, before HH became completely intolerable. Those were the days. They really were.
