This is AWESOME news! Thanks for the heads up, 1111! I did a little searching on who would be Sam, it's Christian Bale! Now, for those of you who don't know who Christian Bale is, he played "Preston", the top Cleric of the enforcers in "Equilibrium", (If you haven't seen this movie, I recommend checking it out if you like extreme action! It's also an interesting storyline as well). He was also in "Reign Of Fire".

I am glad that they are making a Splinter Cell movie. But it will have to be someone 40 to 50 year old actor who plays Fisher. I think that maybe George Clooney may be good.

A Splinter Cell movie you say? awesome, i hope it comes out in less than a year, I've been hearing about tons of video game movies like bloodrayne, doom, metal gear solid, and like 5 more that since they've been announced i havent herad or seen anything about them

I thought Spilnter Cell was the only Tom Clancy game that wasn't a book.

You forgot Ghost Recon. Unlike other the other Tom Clancy games, the book is based on the game, rather than the other way around. It's not a particuarly well written book either, probably because Tom Clancy didn't write it. If you don't live in the US, you'll have to order it online, like me.

Awesome! George Clooney might actually do a good job as Sam.
Im curious as to everyone elses opinions on who should play Sam.
If they portray Sam as old as he is in the game, then George Clooney would work out well. If not I would say Colin Farrel would do a good job as a 'younger Sam'.

Why not just use Micheal Ironside, the voice of Sam Fischer for the game. He's old like Sam. He may be bald, but it's movies- he could wear a wig of some sort.
