Subject: paris. nice. train stage.

At the end of the stage when I grab the rope, sam fisher just dangles. no buttons work except the directionals and he just remains hanging. It remains this way until I reset the ps2. Is this a glitch? is something wrong with my disc? Am I doing something wrong? has anyone else seen this? please help

It looks like this forum is dead.
I have concluded that something is wrong with the disk. Also, when I first exit the train I could hear saying what he says when I meet him. AN obvious error. So Ill just make this game a weed plate and move onto chaos theory . peace

sorry that it's taken so long for anyone to answer ur question but yea, it must be a glitch, that never happened to me. but that part about the guy saying wat he says when u meet him, if u mean that fact that he says wat he would say if he discovered u i think thats not a glitch coz that happened to me. probably just to make the game a little harder.

I bought a new disc off of ebay and it works now. i guess something waws wrong with the disc
and the speech thing was an error. It was the actual conversation between fisher and the guy which would be impossible when fisher is outside the train.

Nice one, glad you got it fixed. A similar thing happened to my friend in Final Fantasy 10, where he was hanging off a ledge and the game kept freezing and he needed to get a new disk, errors like this just ruin games.

damn. its been more than a year and I am still playing this game. To my credit though I have been real busy with other things so I havent been plaing it much. Im at the jungle stage now. I love this series though. does anyone know if there are any plans for a splinter cell on the ps3 or xbox 360? that would be hot
