Taking Kingdom Hearts is the whole point of the game though for villians
.A light using villian wouldnt be bad, but what about Dawn?

Light <--> Dark

The only time "Dawn" was mentioned in Kingdom Hearts was the name of Riku's Keyblade.. Way to the Dawn I think..

Darkness = Night

I know Light and Darkness are true elements.. but Dawn and Twilight are NOT elements..
They're only times of the day..
Light is an element because Roxas's element is Light, and Darkness is an element because Riku's element is Darkness..

They are actually sides, like Darkness and Light.
Dawn: light and Darkness, but still doing good things.
Twilight: Darkness and light, but still doing bad things.

Element was not the word I meant to say. Light, Dark, Dawn, and Twilight are the four "paths" one can take. This was stated in one of the Ansem Reports.
Remember the Crossroads - 4 different paths...
