Which style of playing do you prefer? Single or Double?
Personally I like playing with two pads at the same time, so I'll go with Double, but I'm actually better at Single than at Double.

I hardly ever play double. I only have one pad.

The few times I have played double, I was getting B's on Light.

Ah I see, well Double does take some time to get used to playing. But if you are able to get another pad, I recommend you giving it a try, you'll improve those Bs in no time

The problem with that is any of the soft pads I buy break within about three days, and metal ones are way out of my price range right now. (I have a metal one from Ebay right now, Ninja or something. The arrows keep cracking, and we have to buy new ones.)

That's true, most of the pads needed for the home versions aren't that good. At the moment I have two functional soft-pads, that I paid 70 pesos each ($23 US dollars each) and a really good anti-sliding pad that costs 90 pesos ($30 US dollars). I hope I can get more pads like the last one in the future, they are really above of the quality that the normal soft-pads offer.

Two questions:
What brand are they?
and
What level do you play?

I play on expert/heavy (Single) and standard/difficult (Double). But I don't know what brand they are honestly. I can post a picture of them later though.

Oh, OK. They must be good if they survive more than a week with someone playing on heavy. =3

Here you go:

This is the one that I'm currently using to play single, it's really great, at least when you compare it with this pad:

It's not that the pad above doesn't work, but it isn't as good as I need it to be, it's too easy to slide and fall if you are not careful, unlike in the first one.

You have good luck with soft pads then. I had one like the bottom picture and it lasted about five seconds.

The arrows kept pressing themselves because the sensors got stuck together. Heck, we even bout two different $100 soft 1 inch foam pads and they didn't last a week.

You think so? Hmmm... I'm not doing anything special with the pads, and I had both for a month now. Do you play with your shoes on? that causes them to stop working faster...

No. My brother and I both play barefoot on heavy/expert. And no, neither of us are overweight. =3

That sucks then, maybe you could try doing some research in different stores until you see a different (and better) soft-pad than the standard one, so that you finally can use one for more than a week each

Or save money and buy a metal one, which I can't do, since they don't sell them here.

I got mine on Ebay. It's working fine for me now except for the arrows occasionally cracking down the middle. Still works, though. Now all we need is another one....
