well i think in world 8 there is a part where there is five spots witch drag you down yes? and you play a level anyway on the map there the skulls look a bit like a heart. but i dont think they are MEANT to be there...

Yeah they're probably just rumors. I don't think I've ever had any satanic messages before. (I have the NES version, but not the SNES)
