Subject: I dont know what to do, I missed the Power Bombs

I need help, I skiped getting the power bomb. I just went through the room that it is found in, and then when i left, the door turned yellow. What do i do? do i need the power bombs to go on? How do i open yellow doors? Please help me!

Did you go to the room that's east of the top part of the red, vertical shaft in Brinstar? I'm talking about the shaft in which you have to freeze the flying enemies and jump on them to reach the highest point.

i think youre screwed but there is usually a way to go on in metroid i have finished all the games except for the new one and i never got perma stuck:P
