Subject: Entering Monkey Temple

Hope someone can help....I have entered temple and now a monkey. You are to chase Harry down and jump on him. I have tried and tried. I can't catch him and if I do get close I push the A button to jump on him and it like the baby monkey doesn't jump...If you run back to where the big monkey is, it's so dark you can't see...What do I do? Thanks!!!
