Dryads........definitely hardest.
I had Alaron, Rheda, Brenna, and Abrecan in my party, all four at level 13. They were strong enough to destroy the Spirit/Dire Wolves fairly easily.
I had Abrecan's Willpower at level 30, and all others at between 20 and 30.
Abrecan had Warfang, Alaron had Mace of Glory, and Alaron had a Wizard skill of 6.
The best I have ever done was hitting one Dryad once with Abrecan and taking two turns with Abrecan before actually being taken out.
I found that these Dryads have low stamina, but a high character level.
Abrecan hit that one Dryad and caused a mere 20 damage, but that took out more than half its total hit points.
They have high defense, a high character level, a high wizard skill, and high dexterity, and they know Lightning and Mirror.
They tend to cast Mirror on themselves right away, but then afterwards they kill you with Lightning. I am looking at getting the Dryad shield from them so I can see what it looks like.
