Why not? And I think Punk is more of a tweener (neutral) at the moment.

So I went to WWE.com, and sure enough, Unforgiven is replaced with the Breaking Point PPV and for October 04 they're going ahead with their "Hell In A Cell" PPV but what the *bleep* is this "Annihilation" PPV scheduled for October 25? That came out of no where.
The Bash At The Beach --> The Bash
Unforgiven --> Breaking Point
Hell In A Cell --> No Mercy
Annihilation --> Cyber Sunday
That's four PPV's with new names this year alone. The *bleep*?!

Well, I guess I'm gonna buy tickets for Breaking Point anyway.. only WWE show I've been to was some house show last year, so what's there to lose.
And yeah, these changes are quite weird... especially with the fact there's barely any delay hype for them. I honestly expected Breaking Point & Hell in a Cell to debut like next year. :\

Morrison probally will be a dark match since the doors open's at 4pm and thats enough time to have a match or two before 5:00pm.

Since when was Hell in a Cell a name of a PPV this year? Too many damned PPV's.

And there was so much good history with No Mercy, including an epic N64 game.

That, and Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday was an awesome PPV series. Doubt they'll have the fan voting thing for Annihilation.
Anyway, haven't watched WWE since the Draft show, but definitely tuning into the Bash after seeing the card. Mainly want to see if Punk can retain. Could care less about the Mask vs. Title match as Rey's mask gimmick is too marketable and profitable for it to be thrown down the drain.

Yeah but apparently Rey is leaving so this could be his way out.

HIAC PPV...that can't be just the same concept as Lockdown, it can't. I mean it just sounds so shit, even if there's just one HIAC, that's it for the year, that's it's designated spot. And the other names don't lend themselves so well to gimmicks, bah. Guess they'll just hype them as new.

Oh God, HIAC PPV? Breaking Point? No more Cyber Sunday?
Annihilation sounds like a hardcore indy show, something from CZW or whatever...
