The Luis Family
- Orville Luis:
- Orville Luis is the man where the Luis' roots can go so far. We already know that he was the founder and responsible for all Luis' economical success. Also, he died 4 years before the birth of his granddaughter, Pham Luis.
- Fred Luis:
- Head of the Luis family and actual president of the Luis Corporation, Master Fred Luis graduated top of his class from Oxford University. Two years later, following in his father Orville's footsteps, Master Luis became president of Luis Construction. When Orville passed away in 2092, Master Luis became president of Luis Corporation, and for 30 years he has guided the Luis family. Master Luis has collected many cars over the years (almost 250) and every morning still frets over which one to drive.
- Jenny Luis:
- Master Luis met his wife, Master Luis met his wife, Lady Jenny, at Oxford, and, at the age of 22, she joined the Luis family. After Pham's birth,Jennyconcentrated on being a mother. She began helping Fred soon after Lady Pham started school. Lady Jenny, also being a distinguished graduate of Oxford, is currently the president of several Luis Corp. companies.
Pham Luis
Pham Luis was born in 2096, in the Philippines and she is the only daughter (and hereditary) of the Luis family. She lived most of her childhood in a mansion with her parents and butler Pierre Wells. Pham is described by Pierre as a “bright young lady, just like her parents” when it comes to looks. As for personality, she can sometimes be a rude, self-centered, undesired presence(all of this comes from the fact of Pham being rich, which makes her to consider everybody who has less economic power than her, as peasants). In general, Pham likes to do things her way (what she wants, where she wants and when she wants), only gets the best of the best (regardless what it is) and hates to be confronted, ordered and feeling depressed.
When she was in highschool, she made many friends, and was strongly influenced by the male ones to take Wanzer and general aircraft piloting, which after some time resulted in two major happenings that changed her life, as well Luis' family roots, forever: in one of her birthdays, Pham asked her parents to get her a large transport aircraft (later known as Luis' Family Transport) as her gift, which was no problem due to the fact the Luis family is extremely wealthy. Later on, the unexpected happened: she joined the country's major rebel group, the PLP (Philippines Liberation Party) in a fight for democracy, under the command of Bamarm. By this time, she was 17. Even tough her parents were completely chocked and against this decision (as well Pierre), Pham didn't back down and abandoned her mansion and parents. Her bulter, Pierre, in the other hand, couldn't help himself but to join the PLP too, in order to protect his “lady”, as he many times refers to Pham. Her parents felt that they had to do something (since they couldn't convince her to get back home) so in order to save their loved daughter from danger, some of the profit from the Luis family goes to the PLP rebels, in order to give them better equipment.
By the time the rebels covered a significant south area of the Philippines, Pham meets a group of strangers in Davao's wanzer parts shop. The group was composed by Kazuki Takemura, Ryogo Kusama, Alisa "Aliciana" Takemura, Liu Hei Fong and Miho Shinjo. Kazuki's party, later on, formulates a plan to invade Luzon. In order to help them out and gain their trust, Pham offers a special modified wazer carrier commercial plane to the mission. They succed. Still not impressed with their performance and interested on fighting, Pham Luis join's Kazuki's party and takes out the Philippines' army ocean fortress Dagat Ahas, then later Philipines' army air force base, Taal Base in order to achieve Kazuki's party main goal: retrieve the new USN bomb known as M.I.D.A.S. They fail, as M.I.D.A.S. was deployed in Bantagas, killing uncounted number of civilians and rooting out the PLP's rebels. Philipines' army skirmishers were shortly deployed to root out any remaining existing rebel forces, (this includes Pham). She later decides to call Luis' Family Transport to pick up her, Pierre and Kazuki's party, and fly out of the Philippines. Pierre disagrees, saying that the rebels are gone and there is no more reason for the to fight, suggesting that Pham should return to her family. She refuses, saying that she is tired of being a “bird in a cage” and now is a chance to “look for a challenge”. The transport arrives, and all board the aircraft, except Pierre, who sacrificed himself to hold off the skirmishers, in order to her (and mine) beloved Pham manage to escape safely from the Philippines. On air, she realizes that his loyal, loved servant is not on board, which results on her to be sad and cry all the time, thinking off all he has done for her. From this point, Pham fights alongside Kazuki's party and his goal. Later on, Pham knows that Pierre survived in Bantagas (by e-mail) and he tries numerous times to get her home (even faking that her dad is sick and has not many time to live); she refuses to return every time. By time, Pierre informs her that they (parents) found a husband for her, a royal Singapore family member named Woo, but Pham finds him extremely ugly and refuses to marry him. (HELL YEAH! :D)
After Kazuki's fight is over, nothing is known about Pham. I really hope you returned to you mansion after this, safe, without a single scratch, and that from now on you won't be in more danger. From your lover and biography writer, DHZ Wanzer Pilot.
Pierre Wells
Pierre was born in 2060, and has been working for the Luis family for over 27 years and is fiercely protective of Pham. He is so loyal that he agreed to join the PLP alongside with her (mentioned earlier). Pierre Wells is from Cardiff Wales. In 2082 at the age of 22, he graduated from the Kingdom School of Butlery. After 3 years of apprenticeship, his master went broke. At that time, Pierre was hired by Master Luis's father Master Orville Luis in 2085. He has worked for the Luis family ever since. Not much more is known about him except that he is talented at almost everything from cooking to Wanzer piloting.
Luis Family Transport
The Luis Family Transport is an Aircraft Cargo Plane based on Antonov's design, and it's modified to transport both Wanzers and crew. As said before, it was a request by Pham Luis in one of her birthdays. Luis Family Transport was shut down by the Hua Lian rebels in Taiwan by a SAM system, around 2112.
