Oh the Sims... Where would I be without them... Writing and reading-- my two forms of creative release... My PSP and MP3 player-they keep me sane even though we live in such an obscene and incompetent world...
  • Biography

I've been hooked since the Sega Genesis. With a flick of a switch I was sucked into a world of hedgehogs, Disney Characters, and Dolphins named Eccho. Passing my days with my eyeballs glued to a television screen, I became somewhat of a Genesis cult leader in a one-person group. Being crudely deprived of a Sega Saturn or Dreamcast (which I realize now turned out to be the major underdogs of the industry), I was finally released from videogame-withdrawal when my stepfather brought home a Playstation. Turning it on, I marvelled at the whispy intro sound as it showed a 3-dimensional 'P-S'. My first game being Resident Evil 2, I was a tad dissillusioned. "Would all games be this damn scary?", I asked myself--an eight year old little girl. No, came a booming answer. That strong voice of reason came from Final Fantasy 9, a recommendation by a cousin of my same age. I fell in love with the chunky box and 4-disc set. You couldn't pull me away even if you were to threaten me with bodily harm or massacre. Reading countless speech bubbles and continuously pressing X to order Zidane and the ever-so-cute Vivi around seemed to be my calling. So yes, Final Fantasy 9 raped me of my videogame chastity. Since that day I've made my goals to discover new videogames out there-- rarely stepping foot into the mainstream game scene. C'mon, the best games are the least popular! (Think- "Beyond Good and Evil", "Prince of Persia", "Ico", "Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne"... The list goes on and on...) I am a self-proclaimed geek: I'm competent in html coding, my gaming style stretches from the Sims to Grand Theft Auto... I am a Gaming Girl. Hear me Roar, dammit.
