THE best single player campaign I have ever played, because of the magnificent story telling, sublime graphics, and sheer innovative gameplay; with gene modifications and great weapons. Only gripe is a lack of enemy variety, but everything else in the game is perfect. Goes to show how great a game can be if all time is focused on single player and not split on multi player. | Q4 2007 |

Just the campaign of this game is better than other FPS campaigns and multiplayer portions put together, but COD4 sports an excellently directed and challenging campaign, with replayability due to incredible scenery variation. The multi-player of this game is worth the purchase price of another game in itself. Although a short campaign, a very memorable campaign too, especially on Veteran difficulty, which separates the men from the soldiers. Mile High Club on Veteran also completed after many hours of frustration. Level 55 reached in online, not going to bother with Prestige mode for the simple fact it's pointless, and no rewards/benefits are derived from doing it. |

Some fun and exciting battles, well crafted levels, poor storylines and dialog, pathetic boss battles, multiplayer provides hundreds of hours of additional fun. Excellent game for seamless co-op. | Jun 2007 |

Superb game, great satisfaction in seeing the credits rolls through at the end, even though the storyline wasn't great, the gameplay was so excellent, I spend hours simply stuffing around with the gravity gun. Game starts out great and only gets better, if you have it and have stopped without completing it; I urge you to complete it. | Q4 2006 |

Top quality game, although the storyline was lacking, great take on the stealth genre to provide a fresh change from some of the Splinter Cell games, and to let you live as a contract killer. Great difficulty levels to challenge first time gamers and veterans, as well as great weapon customisation. | Jun 2007 |

Extremely simple and linear game with no replay value, all environments looking identical, weak artificial intelligence. Playing as Kong should have brought some sort of challenge to the game, but with fury mode, it was even easier than playing as Jack. "Puzzles" are laughably simple, a few okay cinematics. Just worth the rent to get an easy 1000 achievement points, not worth playing through on any other console. | Jun 2007 |

Excellent campaign, huge emphasis on squad tactics, great AI, superb graphics and locales. Challenging without being frustrating. Real replay value comes from multiplayer, full with excellent ranking system, great maps and modes, as well as a top-of-the-line matchmaking system. Must-buy. | Q3 2007 |

Graphically beautiful game, some intense moments. Early JBA HQ missions lack vigour, some very memorable missions. Far too easy, cruised through expert mode, multi-player is a let down and single player has lost most of it's pure stealth action. | Apr 2007 |

Last good Tony Hawk's skating game, classic levels, fantastic list of playable skaters, including all the best pros, officer dick and spiderman. Massive amount of levels and tricks, without the stupid storylines and unrealistic combos of the later games. Easy to lose hundreds of hours in this game trying to 100% each level. | Q1 2002 |

No, it didn't take 150 hours to get all the visible achievements done, that's how long I spent playing the game; I would estimate. I do however have all the trophies, all the challenges done, all without cheating or even using a second controller. I have also played multiple seasons and GM Modes, multiple exhibition and online games, as well as filling all the CAW slots, creating belts and quite simply using every single feature of the game to death. | Q4 2005 |
