| Hello all! This is my new and (slightly) improved NeoHome, created
using a neat little tool called KompoZer for Windows. (Going to snazz
it up a bit later ^^) Thanks for dropping in! Let's see... where to begin... ah. I was born June 21, 1990, to a Filipino mother and an American father just out of the US Marine Corps. Age 11 saw me hit a low point where I just hated the world. This continued until I entered high school. I hung out with older kids and I guess their influence helped me to just chill. Where I am now: Age 18, the crossroads of life. Community college enrollment is high and degree recipients are few. 20%, I've been told. My goal: to find a job involving digital art, my one and only skill. Neoseeker life: I arrived on the Neoseeker scene in 2004 whilst looking for Final Fantasy hints, and liked the Neo community so much that I decided to register shortly after. But sometime between 2005 and 2006, the computer that I had for about ten years (they don't make 'em like they used to) began to fail. My visits to Neo became less and less frequent, until I stopped logging in altogether. Upon moving to a new house, we unplugged the old PC, and since have not been able to get it running again. Not like we need to. August 2007 rolled around, and with it, a new PC- an HP Pavilion with Windows Vista. The interface is shiny and new, and although my programs tend to crash at the most inconvenient times, or it restarts on me to install an update, it's fine. I manage somehow. More on me. I guess you could say I'm a tomboy. I wear jeans and a T-shirt practically everywhere I go. I love video games, music, and the occasional anime and manga. I hang out with guys... and they have no problems hanging out with me! Except that I can be a little crazy when we play multiplayer games. Competition's always fun. That's all. Hit the links at the top to navigate to different sections of my home. Happy browsing! ^^ -InuYashaFan123

| This is a pretty big
section... I'm sorry! I was a Sega Genesis kid in the early 90's. I moved on to the Nintendo 64 and Playstation a few years later. I've never owned an Xbox, not yet anyway- but I've played them on multiple occasions. I'm not bad at Halo, if I do say so myself. XD Now, without further ado, the games, by console. I can whole-heartedly recommend any of these games, and help first-time players! (Though, admittedly I haven't beaten all of them...) Sega Genesis
(Mega Drive)-
Go ahead, say it. I have no life. I won't deny it. >_>

| Oh boy. I was a freshman in high school, in love with
MCR, listening to mainstream radio like it was the greatest thing ever.
Sophomore year rolls around and Guitar Hero saves me from my terrible
taste in music. How's that for video games having an impact on your
life? These days I'm into metal, classic rock, anything with a kickass guitar... I don't listen to much else, honestly. And now, a list of the bands I love, with a bit of personal commentary on each. Sonata Arctica-
I love Sonata
Arctica to death. I stumbled across them while watching Nightwish
videos on YouTube... It took a couple of listens, but ultimately it was
"Kingdom for a Heart" and "Wolf and Raven" that got me hooked. Tony
Kakko is an incredible vocalist... sometimes, he just blows me away.
And Elias Viljanen has the skill to fill Jani Liimatainen's shoes, as
his solo albums will attest.
Nightwish- I guess I was
surprised. When I first heard "Nemo", my perception of metal was
terribly skewed. I imagined a lot of incomprehensible growling about
death and the apocalypse...then, to hear Tarja Turunen's mystical
voice! She was fantastic. Nightwish won't be the same without her. That
being said, they're still quite good. "The Islander" is my favorite off
of Dark Passion Play.
Ari Koivunen-
I'll be perfectly honest here: I hate (insert country here) Idol with a
passion.. Glorified karaoke, that's all it is.. So by that logic, I
should hate Ari Koivunen. But I don't. Having a great taste in music is
one thing, but having the voice for it is another, and he's got both.
Just by covering Sonata Arctica's "Fullmoon" at the Finnish Idol finals
(and doing a damn good job of it if I do say so myself), I think he's
got my respect for life.
Apocalyptica-
Plays Metallica By
Four Cellos. Did that grab your attention? Because it certainly grabbed
mine. I was curious to see how they might pull off the solo to "One"
with a cello... to be honest, it's not bad. So the cellos may be a
gimmick but their music is gorgeous all the same. The only thing I
don't like is "I Don't Care" feat. Adam Gontier. The live version with
Tony Kakko is a lot better... you can find it floating around YouTube.
Lunatica-
Atmospheric and
catchy... Andrea's voice isn't particularly stunning, but it's pleasant
to listen to. Lunatica even covered Ultravox's "Hymn", with stellar
results. The entire "Fables & Dreams" album is a winner.
Definitely something to look into if you like new Nightwish, Within
Temptation, or just female-fronted metal in general.
Krypteria-
There is something
interesting about Krypteria. I can't place my thumb on it. It might be
Ji-In Cho's voice, which has a distinctive J-pop flair to it (she's
actually Korean). Or it might be the guitars. Or both. Just listen to
"Sweet Revenge" or "Scream" and tell me that it isn't awesome. Go on...
Visions of Atlantis-
The initial
disappointment I had with VoA is that most of their songs sound eerily
similar. That being said, the vocals are incredible. On par with Tarja
Turunen, if you ask me. "Trinity" is easily their best album to date,
but each album has its share of gems.
Other bands that I
love, but I am too lazy to write about-
