Guest: can post only in specified forums, moderators can choose to allow or limit guest posts. Cannot edit or delete messages. Can only have 2 images or links in a post. Can have IP addresses banned.

New member: can post anywhere, aside from restricted forums, such as mod forum, CRS forum, GameGrep approvers forum, Portal Staff forum, supermod forum, etc. Can edit and delete messages. Cannot have a Neohome, custom title, and can report messages. Becomes a full member after 50 posts. Can have account and IP address banned to prevent ban bypassing as a guest.

Member: Like new member, but can have a Neohome and custom title, and can also remove messages from view.

Moderator: moderates a forum. Can edit and delete all messages in their forum, and close, open, and sticky threads. Can customize appearance of forums or threads. Can account ban and IP ban guests and members. Can block or limit guest/member posts in their forum.

Section mod: moderates a section, such as all action games for the Wii console, or all strategy games for the PS2, etc. Has all powers of regular mod.

Supermod: has power in all forums, can disable PM, sigs, avatars, etc. for certain members, and permanently ban members from the site.

Neostaff: Are paid employees at NeoHQ in Canada, and work on the site.

Admins: Control the entire site from NeoHQ. They are Redemption and ar_cat I believe.

CRS Staff: Approve and reject submissions for cheats, guides, user reviews, etc.

Portal Staff: Code or give information to help a Neoportal, which is a mini site for individual game series, such as GTA, Sonic, and even TV shows, like Family Guy.

GameGrep Approvers: Approve news for GameGrep, Neoseeker's social news site.
