I was originally born in Sarajevo, Bosnia. My family and I moved to Austria when I was only one year old due to the Bosnian Civil War. After spending 5 years in Austria as refugees, we moved to Florida in the United States, where I spent the majority of my childhood and life. Currently, I am a student at Rice University studying electrical engineering.
