Aya Chan has possession my mind, body and soul. Another interest is my Death Star, which Aya Chan is second in command of. She's also commandeered some of the Cyberdemons onboard.

I'm 22 years old and I'm currently at University doing a degree in Mathematics. I've been a member of this site since November 2002 when I stumbled across the forums looking for Cheats for Dynasty Warriors 3. When I went in I posted as a guest a couple of times and then signed up because it seemed like such a fun place to be. Since that time I've discovered that there's more to do on Neoseeker than simply talk about Computer games. I've written about 120 User Reviews and I've contributed a lot of profile information about games to the site in an effort to reduce the number of incomplete profiles around, especially trying to build up the retro section because the Sega Mega Drive is the console that I grew up on.
Early 2003 for me was spent mainly in the Dynasty Warriors forums and the Command and Conquer Generals forum. The communities there were simply awesome and it's because of those I stuck around the site for more than just a few months. I discovered Loungin' as well and started posting more frequently there as the year went on, and over that Summer I posted in a lot of threads there, probably the most active I've ever been in terms of pure posting. Towards the end of the year I got involved with the GTA:SA community. I one day hoped to moderate the forum, but at the time just enjoyed discussing almost every aspect of speculation that came up. It's the forum that has the most posts by me in it.
In late 2003 and early 2004 some of the remaining DW veterans jumped over to the spin off Samurai Warriors forum. I originally made a couple of posts but then forgot about the forum. While I wasn't posting, Dine_Agoti was made temp mod, only to be heckled out. This was brought up in the DW4 forum, which then directed my attention back to the forum, which I then started to get more involved in. When LordMaChao became the next temp mod, I was determined to help the forum grow and prosper. LordMaChao was then unfortunately hacked and demoted prematurely. (The Koei curse strikes again!)
My moderating here started in mid-February 04 when I eventually got the chance to moderate the Samurai Warriors forum. Since then I've also moderated Devil May Cry 3, the 3 NeoPortal forums and I also used to moderate Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. That was definitely an experience, I'll never forget what Daisy, Chiro and myself went through, with some help from DrFred as the section moderator. Best Overall Neoseeker of 2005? That's what a lot of people thought in the Neo Awards because I won that category, dethroning Slacker after 2 years. =D I was also voted Most Inspirational Neoseeker. I don't quite know what it is I inspired people to do but it's nice to know that I have provided inspiration for some. (As an aside I won both of those awards again in 2006 and the "Most Helpful" one, thanks to all who voted for me! ^_^) Towards the end of 2005 I was very surprised, and delighted, to be asked if I would like to become a Supermoderator, which as you can tell, I now am. That rounded off 2005 which has really been an amazing year for me in terms of Neoseeker. Being a Supermoderator takes up most of my Neo-time, which can be frustrating as other things can take a lot longer to get done than I'd like.
So I spent 2006 as a Supermoderator aside from a couple of months off over Summer. If I had to make the decision of whether or not to accept the Supermod spot again, I would still say yes. However it has proved to be considerably more difficult and stressful than I ever thought it would be. The "stresses" involved with moderating GTA:SA are so minor in comparison that I can only remember a few key moments from my 6 months there because everything else has blurred into one big thing in my mind, yet at the time I remember thinking that the GTA:SA moderator position was the hardest thing on the site except for maybe Loungin'. Being a Supermoderator is not as easy as it may look from the member or regular moderator's point of view. I too was once in those positions thinking things could be done better.
2007 didn't really go anywhere in terms of Neoseeker for me, a changed personal situation meant I wasn't around as much as I used to be. Some weeks I was active, other weeks I wasn't, and there's no pattern to it. Despite that I won the "Best Overall Seeker" for the third year in a row at the Neo Awards, somehow. This pattern of activity continued into 2008 until I requested demotion due to not having enough time to spend on Neoseeker duties any more.
