| Biography: |
Since August 1, 2008:
When I first registered for this site, I just followed the only person that understands me (on the site since I joined). Anyway I started with the Paper Mario: TTYD forum before it went to the shits. Also with the Graphics & Animation forum, which is still fine (as well as Loungin). Of course I started arrogant, then a less serious form of arrogance.
Get it right, I'm arrogant, not impaired!
I went through some other forums and they're alright but they're more for the, well...what the hell would I call them without looking like a hypocrite? Wouldn't know. Look at a dictionary, I wouldn't freaking know what the word was
Music forum is easily one of the better forums but that's as long as you don't march in and flame every band you see. You don't go around saying "Punk Rock sucks and all of it's fans are clearly posers" (although it's true most of the time) or "Dragonforce suck ass" because that shit gets you in the slammer quickly. Post in something you like or you're screwed.
So before sometime late 2006, I used to post with Ultima_Strife (I still do, just that he doesn't log on as often as he used to, damn bastard). After late 2006, Kiker55 and I made up, and Vergil had also joined, so yeah we united. And then in December, Eric (or The Host for the impaired) joined and then we united moreso and started doing shit on Neoseeker (make up your own definition, I couldn't really give a shit to be honest).
A few days ago, I quit my reviewing job. No, not because I'm sick of it (hell I love reviewing and playing games), but nowadays, I feel that the quality of them were dropping due to lack of time and something to do besides reviewing. Hell I couldn't even go to school anymore! I had to also do Walkthroughs, so that made it worse. Put it this way; I was never out of the office or doing stuff a 15 year old is supposed to do; HAVE FUN WITHOUT FORCING SHIT OUT! CHRIST!
Basically, I'm jobless unless a shopping center is hiring.
Yeah, that's my life up to that point.
Some people are wondering about how I write reviews...well, here's how:
Title
Good: What I find good
Bad: What I find to be problems
Detailed summary:
Prior to playing this game and experience with this game after playing it.
Story: x/10.
Deals with the story. A low mark indicates shitty storytelling, boring story and forced...well, you get it. A high mark indicates great storytelling, compelling story, interesting plot twists that keeps it fresh and character development off the charts.
Gameplay: x/10.
Deals with how the game plays, how the AI is handled and how interesting/tedious/boring it is. A low score indicates broken gameplay with glitches galore and an unplayable piece of shit. A high score is for games that play very well, have balanced AI and provides a challenge without going too challenging too soon.
Graphics: x/5.
Visuals, basically. A low score means there's bland, shitty Atari-2600 visuals on a SNES/Genesis game or terrible color schemes. High scores are graphics which are detailed and very photorealistic (or takes advantage of what a system can handle - can't expect Little Big Planet on an NES).
Sound: x/5.
Deals with soundtrack, sound effects and voice acting. A low score is for unsuiting, shitty soundtracks, low quality and terrible sounding sound effects and 4Kids voice acting (they usually suck). High scores are for those with a great soundtrack, great sound effects and believable, kickass voice acting.
Control: x/5.
Scheme and response. Low scores means it's impossible to remember and doesn't respond at all. High scores means easy to remember and responds a lot. This often has the same score as Gameplay as both are about the same.
Replay Value: x/5.
How often I feel like replaying a game. Low scores means once it's done the first time, it's not worth playing again. High scores indicate that it's worth playing again for extras or something.
Overall: 6x/40
Whether or not the game is worth playing or not. Low scores mean STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS GAME! High scores mean BUY THIS GAME NOW!
