Biography:
Hey, as you may have noticed around the forums, I have a little something called Chat Speak Day. The idea originated a while back, and I never planned to invite other people to join in. I never decided on a date for it until I talked with Ironraven.

The first official Chat Speak Day was held Wednesday, November 9th, 2005. This holiday is planned to take place on the same date every year. If you want to be a part of Chat Speak Day, join in! Be sure you have a banner for it, or else people will think you talk like that normally!

Let me explain how this day works. Every year, on Nov. 9th, I will talk like a "n00b." A n00b is someone who can't use the most basic English skills. Some even TRY to talk incorrectly. Most of the time, their posts are ignored or made fun of. This day was made in order to honor/mock these illiterate looneys. So when the time comes, anyone participating will talk like a n00b. This is known as chat speak. Chat speak is fairly simple. Letters and numbers can be used to represent words such as "u" (you), "b" (be), "c" (see), "4" (for), "2" (two, too, to), and so on. Also, chat speak consists of several acronyms. There's "OMG" (Oh my god), "WTF" (What the *bleep*), "brb" (be right back), "lol" (laugh out loud), "lmao" (laughing my ass off), "rofl" (rolling on floor laughing), and so forth. Everyone in this day will talk in such ways.

Let me get one thing straight, this day DOES NOT violate the rules of Neoseeker. You may post in chat speak, but you will not spam, flame, or post inane things. Just say what you would say on a normal day, but "translate" it into chat speak.

This day is to honor all those who just can't use a keyboard. If you need more info, you can PM me.
