Music, people, my guitars, going to shows, meeting people, making friends, pretending to be a rock star infront of my mirror, lip singing, and just being me. I enjoy expanding my horizons and I'm always trying to do something different, everyone has there definition of different, mine is "doing something that no one around you will and making your own traits"

Biography:
Well, I'll start out with some facts about me. My favorite MCR song to listen to is "Drowning Lessons". My Favorite MCR song to play on guitar is always changing, Right now it is "DEAD!". To me the best MCR song ever written is "This Is The Best Day Ever". The best lyrics Gerard Way ever has written are "I am not afraid to keep on living" from "Famous Last Words", "Take my *bleep*ing hand and never be afraid again!" from "Our Lady Of Sorrows", and "For what you did to me, and what I'll do to you, you get what everyone else gets, you get a life time!" from "It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A *bleep*ing Deathwish". I chose the above because they are all songs and lyrics that have a very metaphorical meaning to me that says "LIVE", which is what MCR has always encouraged.

My name is Jonathan Michael Webber, I play guitar and sing in a band. I'm damn sure I've been listening to MCR longer than you, because back in the 7th grade, I would listen to MCR and people would be like "Who the *bleep* is MCR?", I HAD BULLETS WHEN IT WAS THE ONLY ALBUM. I don't sacrifice something I love just so that I can hear some stuck up chick tell me how hot I am. My interest are MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, guitar, and all rock music in general. I hope that one day I will make it somewhere in the music business. I would rather be in a shitty rock band and make no money but have fun doing what I do, than have a crappy job making a lot of money and hating what I do. If I have to go through life living off of potato chips and Febreze, but still have fun with what I do, then I'm gonna do it. In the event that I don't make it anywhere in music, I hope to become a musicologist. I really enjoy learning new things about musicians and studying there approach to music, so being a musicologist would let me do this while writing about and it and listening to there music, and it would let me spread my knowledge of music. "Music soothes the savage beast." whoever said that is smart, It's true. Music can give you purpose, make you feel alive, and even save your life. It's like a super hero that is there whenever you need it. I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to technology, and I get obsessed with video games every now and then. Stereotyping is stupid, but everyone does it, even me. I am MCR's most dedicated fan, I've been listening to them since they started. I'm pretty damn sure that I can answer any question about MCR you can think of...except what times they use the bathroom, I don't know THAT much. I LOVE my guitars (a Crate and a Fender Toronado) with all my heart, and I love to play them, I play mostly punk rock and post hardcore shit. I also sing, I don't think I'm that great, but I'm told differently. I can however, sing like that guy from Radiohead, and also like Kurt Cobain. I love dressing the way I want. I'd rather have 1 close friend than 50 fake ones. If you want my AIM then just send me a message asking for it. I live for the music. I'm a musician, I play guitar (as stated earlier), keyboard, and some drums and some bass. My main influences are Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance for guitar, Matt Bellamy of Muse for keyboards, and for bass Mike Dirnt of Green Day. My biggest influences as a musician are My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Led Zepplin, Atreyu, and The Killers, these are all bands that I feel have there own unique sound, and I hope to someday be able to take there sounds and create my own. I'm working on that now, in my band. I'm a sucker for what people call "emo" or "scene" hair, I just love it. I'm not suicidal and I've never cut myself so *bleep* off. I LOVE LIFE. I'd like to MERCI POUR LE VENIN!

When it comes to my music, I have a strange yet common way of playing guitar. If the band whose song I'm playing has two guitar parts, I find ways to merge the two parts together when I play it. If it's something I've written, then I tend to play rhythm parts using power chords while mixing in blues scales for effects in the middle of a chord. This is where it gets weird. I play a select few power chords. Why you ask? Simple, they are the only chords that sound cool to me. Full chords just don't fit into the kind of rock music I like to play. And trust me, most guitarists these days only play with a powerchord in different positions. I'm not trying to do something revolutionary here, because Johnny Ramone already did it. I just want to make music and play music the way I want.
