Main Menu
1-Player Mode
Play in special challenges fit for 1-Player
-Classic Mode
Battle your way through 8 battles against computer-controlled characters and 3 Bonus Stages including Target Test, Platform Test, Trophy Tussle, Race to the Finish or 20-Man Melee. When you finally get to the Final Destination, you must face the Master Hand in a 1-Man Melee. You begin with a number of lives that you choose (1-5 lives) and your character. If you lose all of your lives you can continue if you have 10 or more coins to spend.
-Adventure Mode
In Adventure Mode you must guide your opponent through side-scrolling levels and battles against the strongest of enemies to finally get to the Final Destination were you must face a giant character depending on the character you chose. All rules in Adventure Mode are the same as in Classic Mode.

Platform Test
Use your characters jumping skills and attacking skills to land on all 10 specifically placed platforms and set a new rime record.
Home-Run Contest
Use a Home-Run Bat to send the Sandbag flying and landing on a certain distance within 10 seconds. The more damage you give the sandbag, the farther it will fly.
Multi-Man Melee
Use you fighting skills to KO an entire army of fighting wire-frames.
-30 Man Melee
Use your own characters best skills to KO 30 fighting wire-frames.
-100 Man Melee
Use your own characters best skills to KO 100 fighting wire-frames. The more wire-frames you defeat, the harder they get.
-5 Minute Melee
Use your own characters best skills to KO a number of fighting wire-frames in 5 Minutes.
-10 Minute Melee
Use your own characters best skills to KO a number of fighting wire-frames in 10 Minutes.
-Endless Melee
Use your own characters best skills to KO a number of fighting wire-frames in an unlimited time. Try to defeat as many as you can.
-Cruel Melee
Try to survive against the strongest of fighting wire-frames. Defeating 1 fighting wire-frame is a true victory.
-Mega Melee
Survive all 3 giga-wire-frames alternatively. The first wire-frame last for 50 seconds then the second giga-wire-frame jumps into the melee. At 150 the third and final wire-frame joins the battle. Try to KO each one before the others enter.
-Metal-Wire Melee
Survive against an endless army of Metal Wire Frames. Try to defeat as many as you can.
-Training Mode
If you need any practice on your fighting skills, use Training Mode to polish your skills. Use this to find combinations and the best ways to defeat your opponents.
VS. Mode
Play and customize battles for 1-Player or Multi-Player Action
-Melee
In Melee you can fight with any character you choose and you can play with or against your friends or computer-controlled characters. Customize options by going to Melee Options.
-Tournament Melee
In Tournament Melee you can organize a Special Tournament where up to 64 characters can play.

Enter a special tournament with up to 64 fighters.
Winner Out/Loser Out
Play in a special tournament with multiplayer action.
-Special Melee
Fight in different matches that allows you to change the ways you fight like your characters size, and the battle speed.
Giant Melee
In Giant Melee all characters are giant like they have consumed a Super Mushroom.
Tiny Melee
In Tiny Melee all characters are tiny like they have consumed a Poisonus Mushroom.
Metal Melee
In Metal Melee all characters are metal like they have used a Metal Cap
Stamina Mode
In Stamina Mode, each character has a certain amount of HP. When your HP reaches 0, your out. You can also include lives in Stamina Mode so you can play more than once.
-150-HP Melee
Fight with 150-HP. When your HP reaches 0, you lose.
-200-HP Melee
Fight with 200-HP. When your HP reaches 0, you lose.
-300-HP Melee
Fight with 300-HP. When your HP reaches 0, you lose.
Lightning Melee
Fight in lightning fast speed.
Slo-mo Melee
Fight in sluggish slow speed.
Invisible Melee
Every is invisible in this melee so watch your move carefuly.
Camera Mode
In Camera Mode you can take on-screen photos and save them on the Memory Card. On the pause screen, press Z to take a picture, use the control stick or X or Y to zoom in or out, use the C-Stick to control the screen, and use R and L to switch between characters. Go to options to customize Camera Mode.
Customize Mode
Customize your own Melee. Adjust character size, play speed, available characters, and available items. You can even name it.
-Customize Rules
Customize the rules for VS. Mode. Customize available items, stock, time limit, melee type, random stages, handicaps, stage selection, damage ratio, and any other additional rules.
-Name Entry
Enter a name for all record to be set under that name. To use the name, go to the characters name when you choose it, and press A. Then choose the name you want to use. You can also check rcords from the name you use in the Records Option.
Trophy Collection
View trophies that you have collected from Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and use coins you earn to get trophies from the Lottery Ball.
-Trophy Gallery
View all the trohpies from your collection.
-Handy Shop
In the Handy Shop, the Master Hand and Crazy Hand will allow you to buy any trophies they have to sell to you by trading points you gain in Classic and Adventure Mode and Bonus Melee or you can use the coins you collect in different play modes to get random trophies. You can also buy alternate character suits and classic NES Games.

Adjust Screen Brightness, Color, Tint and Sharpness.
-Audio Features
Adjut Sound and Music and switch between Mono Audio, Stereo or Surround Sound.
-Rumble Settings
Turn on or off the Rumble Feature.

Change the Language from English to Spanish, or Japanese.
-Sound Test
Listen to all the sounds from the game. You can unlock more sounds when you unlock more characters and battle stages.
