Grand Theft Auto! No, wait -- it's a new Max Payne!

We were all sitting around this morning, waiting for the hammer to fall, when someone mentioned Max Payne.

That's more or less how this went down, anyway.  Rockstar had recently put up an official announcement page for Max Payne 3, and that's about all they're offering right now.  Fans can register with Rockstar to receive updates for the game until its official release some time in Winter 2009.

Max Payne 3 will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC; the rating is still pending.

I just hopes it includes a bigger crosshair. In the earlier ones, it was difficult to see.

Fun times I wonder if they're ditching the idea of bringing it to the PC after stumbling a bit with GTA IV. That's pretty disappointing to see honestly given how the PC community was their starting point and fan community.

    Oh fantastic. D:
Really looking forward to this, the movie was pretty great. I wonder if they'll use Mark Whalberg as the actor for Max?

Seeing the story, I'm afraid that we will not have Mona in the story if they're taking the easiest level ending as canon. It's also coming from PC, as announced on the news on Rockstar website.
