When Microsoft announced in February they would be offering perks to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers, most of us probably got our hopes too high.

An April lineup was released earlier this month, and this week, we see a 20 percent discount on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Co-op Collection 2.  Seems Marketplace still has it listed at 400 Microsoft Points, but this week, the add-on is marked down to 320 Points for this week only.

Major Nelson's blog is alive with negative comments and protests from disgruntled Xbox 360 users who are more than a little miffed at April's selection.  Last week, Microsoft kicked the month off with a 50 percent discount on Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, episode one.  With Tiger Woods PGA Tour '09 and other sports game DLC discounts on the way, the folks at LIVE probably won't stop hearing complaints for a while.
