Two DSiWare, one WiiWare, and one Virtual Console title head to Nintendo's services this week
Today is the 113th running of the Boston Marathon, and with that, a wave of four games hit Nintendo's downloadable services in North America today. Two of these titles will head to DSiWare, while one apiece will be added to the WiiWare and Virtual Console archives.
The two DSiWare titles this week are both from Nintendo: Dr. Mario Express, and Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche. Dr. Mario Express is a single player-only version of the classic puzzle title, with two modes available for play: Classic Mode and vs. CPU mode. Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche is another in the Master of Illusion Express series to draw from the Master of Illusions DS title, this time drawing mind-bending tricks from its full counterpart.
The WiiWare title this week is Crystal Defenders R1, a tower defense title with the characters and job classes from Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for the DS. Protect the crystals from the oncoming waves of monsters. Lose all your crystals, and the game is over.
For the Virtual Console is the Sega Genesis version of Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair. Up to two players can embark on an adventure to save the town of Xenobia from the continued threat of attacks from monsters.
As a recap, the games available this week are:
- DSiW: Dr. Mario Express, Nintendo, 1 Player, 500 Points
- DSiW: Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche, Nintendo, 1 Player, 200 Points
- WW: CRYSTAL DEFENDERS R1, Square Enix, 1 Player, 800 Points
