Rockstar today released a debut trailer and some new screenshots for their upcoming PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Western action game Red Dead Redemption, sequel to the 2004 title Red Dead Revolver.

If you enjoyed the open-world environment in Grand Theft Auto 4, then this is another treat for you.  Instead of Liberty City, gamers will be able to roam the Wild West in the 20th century, thanks to the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE).

Red Dead Redemption is set for release some time in Fall 2009.  Until then, just enjoy the pretty pictures, courtesy of Rockstar Games.
